GEOGLOWS is an international initiative that provides open, global streamflow forecasts and hydrological data to manage water resources and water-related hazards. Developed through a partnership between the Group on Earth Observations, ECMWF, and the research community—and advanced through the SERVIR partnership with prior investment from NASA and USAID—GEOGLOWS combines cutting-edge hydrologic modeling with open science tools to make high-quality water forecasts accessible and usable at regional to local scales. SERVIR hubs in Asia, Africa, and Latin America have worked to integrate GEOGLOWS into local systems for strengthened flood early warning and water security.
